Authentic Movement and creation

with Gema Díaz

The practice of the Authentic Movement is dedicated to the exploration of internal experience, and to the awareness of everything that moves us and affects us. Creating a climate of silence and listening, we surrender to connect, feel, and observe images, sensations, and emotions that are emerging in the here and now through movement. It is not about telling the body what to do, but about enabling a body of receptivity and listening, through an attitude of surrender as opposed to control, in the "let something happen," or in the experience of "be movid @."

The intention is to listen internally and to remain in an open waiting ... avoid in which something can happen. We wait until we feel a change, as we feel it begin, we follow it to where the impulse moves us; it is like following a path that opens up ahead as one goes through it. Through this path, from the movement, we open ourselves to transformation, and we welcome all those aspects of oneself that we experience in our body, allowing us to move towards a relationship with ourselves and with life, more organic, authentic and aware. The collection of the experience will be done through automatic writing, painting, drawing, clay, and verbal returns and the most relevant physical sample. You can evoke the ephemeral experience and express it concretely, or continue with the flow of experience, changing only the vehicle of expression.

In the last part will be rescued the most relevant materials and connected with the experience of each person in their Authentic Movement, in addition to becoming aware of what has happened to each one in knowledge. From here we will play to compose and to inhabit the space. Different experiences of improvisation will be proposed, with different guidelines, so that most organically, it can be created creating an individual or group instant composition, which will be fixed until a piece to be shared with the public is built.

Creative Integration

with Javier Melguizo

Impulse, Presence and Creative Action

The methodology of Creative Integration is a pathway for human growth applicable in art, education, social intervention and psychotherapy, which integrates techniques of art therapy, gestalt therapy, dance-theater, contact dance, visual and plastic languages and meditation.

In this workshop we will work to connect with the creative source, through the work with the Impulse (letting out the deep necessities of the body, facilitating the emergence of the unconscious) and with the Presence (experiencing what is in the here and now, turning available and receptive to be what I am at all times). From Impulse and Presence appears the Creative Action, which is a new, centered and full response to each circumstance, aligned with the essence-Being.

The workshop offers an open exploration space, a creative individual  journey and for the group, which through body, contact, movement and voice, finds its own themes.

The initial thematic reference will be the feminine-masculine polarity, and we will use languages taken from contact dance, dance-theater, body painting and performance-ritual.

The mask and the judgment

In this workshop we will focus on a specific dynamic of the mask called the internal judge. The internal judge compares, judges and attacks, pretends that without his point of view and opinion we are not able to live satisfactorily and lose control of life. In the workshop we will study in our movement and improvisation how the judge acts, how he intervenes in our decision making and intervenes in the attempt to interact with people and the world. We will investigate how the internal judge participates in all issues of personal and artistic importance, We seek ways to use the judge as an actor (one beside all the other actors) within our creative space without depending on his judgment.
